Ambassadors Committee
SHPE-LA s launching its newest committee with the purpose to link professionals with SHPE student chapters in the LA area, with the goal that students and professionals will become resources for each other and strengthen the SHPE Familia. The goals for this committee are to address current critical issues facing both the students and professional members in key areas: Professional Advancement, Academic Development, Personal Growth, and Community Outreach.
Who are the Ambassadors?
The ambassadors consist of 2 enthusiastic representatives: 1 Alumni and 1 student SHPE chapter member
from the following universities who will become the point of contacts for SHPE-LA and the SHPE Student
Chapters:

- Devry - Long BeachL
- Devry - Pomona
- ELAC

- UCLA
- USC

The Ambassador Committee was kicked of for the academic year of 2005-2006 on July 30th with a full day of
training, brainstorming, and goal setting. The materials regarding the Kickoff Meeting area NOW available.

Deadline to submit final selection of Ambassadors & 2005-2006 Calendar of Events are due
